what lies beyond Immolation's teaser?

so what does lie beyond this teaser?

Hi It's me Mellybunny the game dev!  Going forwards with this project I am hoping to continue to learn new and interesting skill within Ren'py.

This is my very first time coding and my first time making a visual novel. Previously I have made tester games with RPG maker but that feels very different to a VN.

This is also my first game Jam, its been an experience... What have I learnt?

Well its really fun doing something in a community and seeing everyone's interpretation at the end. Also I am terrible with a deadline thank you so much for the extension.  Probably the final thing I have learnt about myself is that coding is fun and creative writing is HARD.  I've realised that I have forgotten more about gramma than I thought possible over the last 18 years. I personally blame texting.

Any way back to the topic at hand (Yes I do indeed ramble a lot). I hopefully will be updating this story soon, I have some story beats planned out and some more of the game drafted out. Sadly even with an extension I didn't have time to polish  and refine it before the deadline.

I would like to add some CGs but at the moment my art style is very rough around the edges and I think it would be very Jarring compared to the lovely game jam sprite art.

As the story progresses I'd like to see our mc grow into a more confident person, I'd like to explore what makes a family and further expand on the game jams theme of Light in the Dark.

I want our mc's friends and family to be a beacon throughout the darkness of the apocalypse . Also quite literally I want light in the dark hence why they game is called Immolation.

In my next update I'd like to introduce some more characters that I haven't had a chance  to include in immolations teaser.

Have a great day and happy gaming!
